Description

Second stage Apeks MTX-R

The MTX-R regulator is based on the MTX model, which was created to meet the requirements of the United States Navy Experimental Dive Unit for diving in extremely cold water.

The purposeful design of this Stage 2 combines several essential features. Superior performance, simple and extremely durable construction with minimized freeflow capability, as well as versatile use for a variety of configurations.

Features:

  • pneumatically balanced
  • DCE - two types of exhaust deflectors can be fitted
  • RVS - hose connection from left or right side
  • massive heat exchanger around the saddle
  • metal reinforced front cover
  • impact resistant surfaces on critical areas - front cover, top and side of 2nd stage
  • all injection moulded components and mouthpiece with antibacterial additive
  • round shower button for easy operation with gloves
  • anatomical "Comfobite" mouthpiece
  • silicone exhalation valve
