T-shirt Rash Guard Aqualung short sleeve

The name "Rashguard" reflects the fact that the shirt protects the wearer from rashes caused by chafing or sunburn during prolonged exposure to the sun. However, Aqualung Rashguards do so much more; they are designed to be worn in and out of the water while providing full UV protection, preventing jellyfish stings, or adding an extra layer under a diving suit.

Features:

• The fabric of the rashguard is 80% polyester and 20% elastane. The polyester helps keep the colors fresh and bright while being chlorine resistant. The nylon/elastane blend is breathable, flexible and conforms to the body when wet. Rashguards made from this fabric are also quick-drying.
• All Aqualung rashguards provide UV protection that is sufficient to protect against sunburn.
• In the close-fitting models (SLIM FIT), the back is longer than the front for additional protection from the sun.
• In the looser-fitting models (LOOSE FIT), mesh panels are under the arms for additional ventilation, and the front and back are the same length.
• A loop is sewn on the front for attaching a drawstring from men's surf shorts or swimwear - preventing pilling and keeping the shape of the shirt while wearing.
• A slightly raised neckline provides protection from the sun during surface activities or prevents the buoyancy compensator from rubbing against the skin when diving in warm water, and helps retain heat when used as underwear.
• For women, a wide range of leggings are available to complement their outfits. They can be worn for ultimate protection during surface activities or under a diving suit, to make it easier and more comfortable to put on.
