Voucher - Mermaid on trial

At the mermaid costume swimming tasting, children will not only have a lot of fun but also learn something new. They will learn the basics of freediving (breath-hold diving) from trained instructors, swim and move in the water with a monofin and pose for the camera like real aquabelles.

The course is suitable for girls and boys!

Swimming with a monofin can easily become a new sporting hobby for your children. A taster session followed by a regular class can be a good foundation for scuba diving, whether it be breath-hold or instrument, and therefore a hobby for life.

• mermaiding lessons are recommended for children aged 4 years and up
• children are divided into two groups
  • smaller children and non-swimmers - the introductory lesson and circle focuses a little more on basic swimming skills and children build a relationship with the water and swimming
  • larger children, teenagers and good swimmers - lessons will help children improve their swimming skills and learn the basics of snorkelling and diving
• Safety is at the instructor's discretion - if the instructor feels it is not safe for a child to swim with a monofin, they will adjust the programme accordingly

Classes are run by trained instructors who are all also swimming instructors. So they can also give children a good foundation for proper swimming technique in a playful way and show them the possibilities that water sports offer - from swimming to diving.

• children will first be introduced to the monofin and briefly learn the basics of freediving
• then they will put on just the monofin at first and learn how to swim and handle it safely
• in the second part of the lesson they will also put on their wetsuits and pose in front of a photo booth, they will become real mermaids
• Maximum of 6 children at a time, individual approach is a matter of course

• Meet participants at the dive pit, directions will be available from our Divers Direct shop in the lobby. There you also need to pay for the lesson in cash if you do not have a pre-purchased voucher.
• If you want to stay with your family in Aquapalace Prague, you need to buy a ticket at the ticket office.
• You need to bring your own swimsuit and swim mask or goggles (mask is preferable, but not required until the beginning).
