The UTP Nautica 20 electrode from voestalpine Böhler Welding is designed for underwater welding of structural steels at depths of up to 20 metres. The special electrode cover ensures a stable arc and quality weld metal with minimal spatter.

These unique electrodes are specifically designed to produce high quality welds underwater, in fresh or salt/sea water, in all positions and on a variety of carbon steels and at different water depths.

SofTouch electrodes are used for on-site repairs in many applications where steel must be joined underwater according to code specifications.
