Wing FLY SIDE - side mount system

The original combination of high lift, efficient streamline profile and solid construction.

We tried a variety of sidemount systems, but none felt comfortable enough. So we thought about what divers need in different environments. We developed a modular system that is simple enough to use.

The FLY side system was developed with the diver's experience in open water, complicated cave systems, wrecks and inland dive sites.

FLY side works great for all types of diving. We wanted to find a way to ensure that users could place enough ballast for the dive and be comfortable at the same time. The solution was very simple - a back plate for perfect load distribution on the diver's back.

1. Ergonomics

The unique combination of high buoyancy, solid construction and a maximally hydrodynamic front profile allow you to dive in any situation, whether it is open water or a confined environment. The load you need is always distributed along the back.

2. WingThe double skin construction, coupled with the modern 3D accordion-based design, delivers a hydrodynamic streamline shape even when the wing is fully inflated. There are two colour options to choose from, red and black. The wing has three openings, each of which can be used for an inflator, drain valve or plug. 3. Harness For the FLY side harness we have used our high quality back plate. The reason for this is to ensure ideal load distribution, so you never carry too much or too little. The harness is fully adjustable with a choice of back plates. Aluminium for travel or stainless steel for local dips (3mm or 6mm, depending on the weight required). The weight system can also be customized - we offer weight pockets located on the back plate in three sizes: 1, 2 or 3 kg weights, but also the option to use an integrated weight that is bolted to the back plate - 2 x 5 kg.

4. Modularity

The modularity of the FLY side system ensures that the sidemount harness can be used with the FLY side wing or any other backmount FLY wing and the desired load can be selected. Customize the system to suit your needs. All possible with FLY side and FLY speleo (later in 2015)

5. High quality material and components

The versatility of the FLY side is mainly due to the ease of disconnecting the harness and wing and the possibility of using the harness with any FLY wing.
