The Dual Adj 62X is the smallest and most compact first stage ever made by Mares. This makes it the ideal travel companion for divers all over the world. The Dual Adj second stage is pneumatically balanced with a PAD (Pneumatic Assisted Design) system, offering comfortable and trouble-free breathing in any situation.

The 62X first stageThe 62X first stage breaks records as the smallest first stage on the diving market: it measures 63 mm and weighs just 464 g (DIN). This small but powerful diaphragm first stage is 10% smaller and lighter than its predecessor, the 52X, and has 30% less volume.It features Automatic Sealing Technology (AST) to provide protection against water ingress into the first stage.The 62X core has been redesigned to create an even better seal, making it an excellent regulator for cold water diving. The addition of the optional double balanced piston (TBP) makes it one of the best performing cold water regulators. The finish is chrome plated with a pearl effect.Technical innovations specific to the internal layout of this first stage include a new valve stem seat that is now sharper with a smaller cone radius and reduced angle for better sealing area definition.

Second Stage Dual AdjThe second stage Dual Adj is made of ultra-lightweight technopolymer and offers smooth and easy breathing at all depths. It features pneumatic assist design (P.A.D.) and Mares' exclusive patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD). A newly developed adjustable breathing control helps divers experience customized breathing even with thick gloves.The Dual Adj 62X, true to the Mares brand, exceeds performance standards at 200m and uses proven technology at 400m. This highly engineered delivery system offers high performance at a very affordable price while providing all the features needed for today's demanding divers. It is equipped with a superflex hose.

When air flows through the bypass into the wall, a vortex is created and a vacuum is created at its centre. This causes the diaphragm to move during the inspiratory phase, which has the effect of improving the response of the automatics and facilitating breathing at any depth. DFC SYSTEM - DYNAMIC FLOW CONTROLMinimizes the drop in central pressure that occurs during the inspiratory phase and maximizes air supply, especially in extreme conditions.
