XTX50/TEK3 GAUGE TWIN

The TEK3's 1st stage regulators have all outputs grouped on a base located on one side of the controller body. Thus, the hoses exit the 1st stage parallel in one direction (usually downward). This straight line routing, along with the short, compact body of the 1st stage, maintains completely unobstructed access to the bottle valves. The rest of the TEK3 body is reinforced and features coarse knurling to increase surface area for extremely cold conditions.

The TEK3 is one of the regulators from the so-called Apeks Norsok Collection. These regulators are accredited to the Norwegian U-101 standard, which sets the requirements for equipment used by commercial divers in the oil industry. The regulators are tested to a depth of 200m using the Heliox breathing mixture.Apeks has three of the four NORSOK U-101 accredited regulators on offer - the TEK3, XTX200 and XTX50. So, whether you are at 200m depth or not, it is good to know that Apeks regulators are extensively tested to work in conditions far beyond the usual limits.
