APD45 - 45m Dyneema High Visibility Floating Line Reel

A compact pocket reel with a unique fully enclosed "no-frills" design.

• With a diameter of only 8 cm, it fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and can be easily stored in your pocket.
• The fully enclosed design prevents snagging and tangling , a common problem with open reels.
• Features a loud audible click of the horn as it is reeled in - which helps the diver judge the speed of the ascent and lets other divers know that you are returning or ascending.
• Made of polymer - it is rugged and extremely lightweight.
• 45 m of high visibility Dyneema cord - which is twice as strong as Kevlar and stronger than steel.
• Simple thumb on/off switch to toggle between ratchet and free running modes when deploying line.
• For use as a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) reel and/or as a Navigation Reel.
• The line is positively inflated.
• The wrist loop can be tightened on the wrist when used as a navigation line, leaving your hands free for other tasks.
• Left or right-handed operation.
• The wrist loop can be easily removed for secure SMB deployment.*

The thumb lock switch features a lock/tap design so you don't have to keep your thumb on it in free running mode when using it as a navigation reel. For safety, we recommend that you hold the lever thumbs down when using the reel to deploy the SMB.
