Mares' 2mm lightweight, low top Equator booties.
Allows waterproof connection of dry glove and dry diving suit. Dry diving gloves are used to maintain thermal comfort while diving and to improve the feel in the fingers and hands when handling objects underwater.
What is the KUBI system?
Lightweight and very strong sealing rings that form a transition between glove and suit. They allow a watertight connection between the dry suit and the glove.
They are ideal for use with photo and video equipment, for line work, etc. Compared to neoprene gloves, they are about 10 times less thick with sufficient strength. The design allows fitting on any cuff (neoprene, latex, rubber) and fitting any glove in terms of material (plastic, rubber, etc.) and thickness (up to 1.5 mm).
Detailed description:
The patented sealing ring system allows the dry gloves to be attached to a dry diving suit. The system can be fitted with gloves of any type, material and thickness.
The system has been developed and tested for more than two years. A solution is now available to meet the highest demands of extreme loads. It has fine-tuned elements for all possible risks that can occur when diving, even in extremely challenging terrains such as caves or wrecks.
In design and manufacture, the aim was to achieve the highest possible functional quality.
