Atomic FRAMELESS Medium mask, diving goggles

The Atomic Aquatics Frameless Mask is focused on perfect fit, comfort and wide field of view. The large glass and the low, tight-fitting cheekpiece form a harmonious whole, creating a mask with the widest viewing angle of any frameless mask. The shape of the glass has been computer-designed to maximise up, down and side vision. The space required for perfect vision is also optimized by the fact that no external frame is needed. The cut-outs released simply by pressing are hidden behind the edge of the glass, adding to the elegance of the hydrodynamic design.

UltraClear glasses

All types of Atomic masks - Frameless and SubFrame use glasses that define a new standard of vision, unavailable in conventional masks. We call this technology UltraClear lenses. What is so unusual about UltraClear glasses? Have you ever noticed that the glass of a regular mask has a green tint? See for yourself - place your mask on a sheet of white paper and look closely. The green tint you see is due to the iron impurities in the float or "window" glass from which the mask is made. This green tint distorts the natural colors and prevents some of the incident light from reaching the eye. UltraClear is a new type of glass of superior optical quality with exceptional clarity and transparency without color distortion. The extraordinary transmittance and lack of distortion of UltraClear glass maximizes the amount of light passing through, which enhances sharpness, especially in degraded light conditions underwater.

Standard and Medium size

Atomic Frameless masks are available in Standard and Medium sizes. The Medium size has a narrower cheekpiece suitable for smaller faces. The Medium size mask is otherwise identical to the standard model.

Both versions of the SubFrame mask come standard with high quality UltraClear optical glasses.
