URSUIT Rescue is the follow-up to its highly successful predecessor Heavy Light Rescue. The new version comes with several major new features - changes in construction and design.

Which innovations does the URSUIT Heavy Light Rescue version offer over the original version? 

• New design of thigh-sized 3D pockets. They feature accessory loops and a large Velcro flap. Bottom of the pockets made of durable mesh material ensures fast water drainage.
• New cut of the seam used in the crotch protects it even better against abrasion.
• Strengthened knee and seat reinforcements made of durable Cordura material.
• New cut of the sleeves and underarm area allows improved movement for the demanding user.
• Style sleeve ends cover the joint between cuff and suit.
• The large logo on the shins looks really good. Choice of classic metal or plastic YKK PU Aquaseal Velcro.

Despite its "military" roots, the Heavy Light Rescue 2.0 suit is also what every serious sport diver wants!  

Material

URSUIT Heavy Light Rescue is made of a very lightweight, three-layer material called trilaminate (nylon / butyl rubber / nylon). Despite the very low weight, the mechanical resistance of the material reaches the highest standard. Surprisingly, the high durability of the material comes precisely from its lightness. The material slides over sharp objects or surfaces, minimizing the possibility of tearing or puncturing. The suit's surface reduces friction, and the conformable material, along with the suit's telescopic construction, helps to distribute the insulating gas evenly. All of these features help to create a lightweight, well-fitting and comfortable suit.

Material Benefits:

• The suit dries very quickly and therefore there is no risk of mould
• Oil will not penetrate through the nylon to the butyl rubber layer. If this were to happen, the butyl layer would swell and cause the layers to separate (loosen) from each other. The oil resistance of the material was tested by the following methods: samples of the fabric were placed in different types of oil for 2 hours. These samples were then cleaned and tested for seam tensile strength. No leaks were found. The material was originally developed for rafters and therefore great emphasis was placed on oil resistance
.

Construction

Front zipper allows for easy dressing without the need for assistance. Cover flap protects the Velcro from abrasion and will not allow sand or dirt to contaminate the zipper. Inside the suit are integrated braces which, in conjunction with the elastic interleg strap, create a telescopic waist. It is this telescopic construction that makes the suit feel as comfortable as a regular suit. On the seat and shins, the suit is reinforced with highly durable Cordura for increased mechanical resistance.

Seams

Ursuit's unique patented double-sealed seam technology provides the most important thing you can expect from a drysuit warranty - a lifetime guarantee on their strength and waterproofing.

Haubna

Ursuit's integrated howitzer is also called a "dry howitzer" due to its unique design not found on any other manufacturer.A 5mm neoprene howitzer with a fine, double-sided smooth facepiece that allows the use of both regular and full-face masks. The cheekpiece is made of pleated 4 mm neoprene with a smooth surface on both sides and a layer of nylon inside, which gives the cheekpiece enough strength and protects it against damage even after years of use. The perfectly anatomically shaped chin ensures a perfect fit of the collar along the entire face.On request, there is also a haubna for professional use when diving with a full-face mask. 

Caps

The suit is newly fitted with two brand new 3D thigh pockets.Each pocket has a flap with internal compartment, which is fitted with two short loops. This flap can be easily operated thanks to the integrated handle-bar.The large-area 3D pocket is equipped with one tail D-ring and two bungee loops for attaching your essential gadgets.The bottom of the pockets is made of durable mesh to ensure fast water drainage.

Bots

The Ursuit shoes are very comfortable and warm. Their shape allows the use of both sport and technical fin types. They are made of 4mm neoprene material, which is partially covered with a latex layer. This combination ensures high thermal comfort even without the use of special socks. For normal use, two sports socks are quite sufficient, the outer one thicker, preferably woollen. For longer exposures, a special X-Tex Sock is recommended.Thanks to the stops on the heels, the fins will hold perfectly.

Vents

High quality Si-Tech valves allow easy air regulation in the suit. The inflation valve, 360° rotatable reduces strain on the supply hose. The automatic low-profile drain valve is fitted with a filter and is easy to keep clean. It is fitted with a neoprene flap under the filling valve to prevent cold air from directly reaching the body. The valves have new logos.

Manets

The latex neck gaiter is molded at the bottom and is easy to pull over the head using your hands. Latex wrist cuffs of the bottle design are more durable and provide better thermal comfort than the tapered design due to the shorter tapered portion.Style sleeve ends cover the joint between the cuff and the suit.

Accessories

The suit comes in a handy carry and storage bag. Included are a medium pressure hose, crushed soap for easier cuff donning, wax for lubricating the Velcro, a service kit for quick bonding, and a knit cap or Ursuit cap.

CE - Type Approval

Heavy Light suits are approved to CE standards in Category III, which is the most demanding category.

URSUIT WARRANTY: Lifetime Seam Warranty - Ursuit uses only exclusive and high-value materials to manufacture its suits, which are also expected to be very long-lasting. The manufacturer guarantees that for as long as your suit is in good condition, the seams of the suit will seal. This lifetime guarantee on the seams, which are made with patented technology, is quite unique among dry suit manufacturers. The periphery of the suit is covered by the standard period applicable to consumables. The warranty is void in the event of unauthorized repairs to the suit.
