The SANTI BZ400 heated undercover is designed as part of a comprehensive heating system. It consists of a sub-suit, a SANTI thermovalve or SANTI connector and an external battery. This configuration allows the diver to wear the subsuit under a dry suit without the hazards associated with internal batteries.

The outer surface of the heated subsuit is made of abrasion resistant 3M BZ 400 Thinsulate™ polyester and the inside is made of microfiber. The heated suit is not recommended to be worn over bare skin, it is designed to be worn over a light thermal undergarment. Then most of the heat output is transferred directly to the diver's torso, back and thighs.

The breathable Thinsulate fabric allows the body to be comfortably heated and sweat to escape. The underwear has luscious thermal properties even when active heating is turned off.
