EEZYCUT Trilobite has a very sharp mechanism that provides a fast and efficient cut and is offered in a wide range of colours. The ergonomic design exposes the longer part of the blade, allowing you to push the material you are cutting against the blade. This design allows for a more stable, faster and cleaner cut and maintains integrity by spreading the cut along the entire length of the blade. Trilobite's small size makes it ideal for use when diving. The reversible design allows for effective use in a variety of situations. The polycarbonate plastic frame is very strong and protects the edge of the blade. The Trilobite is capable of cutting 8mm wide rope and can easily cut through wide webbing.

The blade is housed in a polypropylene handle with Velcro closure for attachment to the sheath, and comes in several sheaths. The most popular strap sheath fits traditional straps {5cm} and due to its small size, it can be placed on any part of the diver's configuration. The wrist holster fits straps up to 2,86cm which are used on computers and compasses.  We also offer a case for wider straps {6.4cm} which are used in commercial diving.

The Trilobite is offered in a variety of color combinations (each side different) as well as all black and a recently introduced phosphorescent version.

The blade of the Trilobite is made of 440A stainless steel, a high quality grade with excellent durability maintaining an extremely sharp edge. If the sharp edge wears out it is very easy to replace the blade.  After diving, the Trilobite should be rinsed in fresh water, dried, and not put back in the sheath until dry.

Always check the blade before diving and replace if necessary. Each Trilobit contains two replacement blades. Additional replacement blades are also available, and come in a safety case containing two blades.

Cleanest, Sharpest Cut - Every Time

Ergonomically patented design uses a longer blade section. Since the wire is pushed onto the blade by the tool frame, the cut is much more stable and not only provides a much cleaner cut, but helps to maintain the edge of the blade. Other "closed" cutting tools have a single point on the cutting surface that quickly weakens and corrodes.

Interchangeable blades

The interchangeable blades allow the diver to always have the sharpest blade when they need it most. Nothing is as sharp as a manufactured blade, which means that the sharpness of a diving knife deteriorates from the moment of purchase. Replacement blades make sense.

Sharpened metal

Normal "marine grade" stainless steel, in terms of dive knives, is generally referred to as 420, also known as cutlery grade. While it has good corrosion resistance in water, it does not have as good an ability to hold a sharp edge. Titanium cannot be created with as sharp an edge as stainless steel. The quality of stainless steel used in the EEZYCUT trilobite (440A) is known for its ability to hold an extremely sharp edge while being well resistant to corrosion.
