Helmet camera D-ONE, Drass

Compact and slim PAL video camera module, supplied with a cable connector (Wetcon MCIL-4M), ready to install on top of the Drass D-ONE diving helmet.

It is the perfect complement to the helmet light module.

Maximum depth of use is 300 msw.

The camera features a high-resolution module with 850 TV lines in PAL (CVBS) standard; the internal CCD sensor is a fully featured 1.3-megapixel Sony model with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), 2D-DNR (Dynamic Noise Reduction) and digital day/night mode.

The CCD module has been specially selected to ensure the best possible performance during diving activities even in low and uneven lighting conditions.

The field of view (FOV) is 90° in air and 80° in water.

The camera is made of black anodized aluminum and has very compact dimensions: length 147 mm, width 70 mm and height only 50 mm; in addition, the camera body is curved to the left to perfectly align the diver's field of view when installed on the D-ONE.

Power supply is 24 Vdc, current consumption is 80 mA at 24 Vdc (2 W). For best signal quality, it is recommended to use a 2x STP cable, especially when the camera is used in conjunction with dimmable lights or other electromagnetically interfering devices - the maximum recommended connection cable length is 100 metres.

Each camera has its own serial number and undergoes a full FAT test (functional and pressure test at 47 bar) before delivery or installation on a helmet.
