The Garmin Descent Mk2i is a dive computer in the form of a classic watch that offers the features of a versatile GPS sporttester, map-based GPS navigation and smartwatch with superior durability and endurance. Free or instrument diving, diving with oxygen or mixtures, easy dive planning with calculation of total time required, including decompression times and depths, underwater heart rate measurement using optical measurement or chest straps, underwater orientation using 3D compass, audible and vibration alarms, backlit display, dive site storage and surfacing functions... Not only these, but also other diving features are offered by the new Garmin Descent Mk2i dive watch, with resistance to 100 meters according to the EN13319 standard.

Diving Computer

Air intake monitoring

SubWave™ sonar technology allows pressure monitoring of up to 5 cylinders. Simply pair them with the Descent™ T1 transmitters. The replaceable CR123 battery lasts up to 100 hours of operation in the T1 probe. The probe's range is up to 10 meters underwater, which is useful for instructors to monitor bottle pressure in their charges.

SUBWAVE TECHNOLOGY

Data such as air bottle inventory, remaining time based on inventory, air consumption rate and more can be transmitted via SubWave sonar technology. Wireless communication range is a maximum of 10 meters.

READY TO PONOR

There are several dive modes available, such as single-mix or multi-mix, single-depth gauge mode, classic Apnea, Apnea Hunt and closed-circuit dive.

MODE CONFIGURATION

Additional screens can be added to each dive mode to select the data that is most important to the user.

SUPPORT FOR POSTING SYSTEMS

Support for multiple satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo) allows signal reception in more challenging environments than would be possible with GPS alone. You can also record specific dive and surfacing locations1.

DIVING NOTES

Save up to 200 dives in the watch's memory - these can then be viewed and shared using the Garmin Dive app.

COMPATIBLE WITH INREACH®

The watch can be paired with Garmin inReach satellite communicators - as long as the inReach is in the dive case, you can always carry it with you during dives.However, the user must not be underwater to communicate via inReach.

BACKGROUND TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT

Get a full day of your heart rate2 - including high or low heart rate alerts. For example, track heart rate variability, which is used to determine stress levels. The sensor can even measure heart rate underwater.

PULSE OXYMETER

The Pulse Ox3 sensor measures how well your body is absorbing oxygen. This value is important when monitoring acclimatization or sleep quality.
