USER UPDATABLE SOFTWARE

It's part of Suunto's long tradition of making reliable instruments. Suunto EON Steel continues this tradition. While on the surface is a highly durable XensationTM glass, inside is a perfectly insulated pressure sensor that ensures stable and accurate performance. The top cover is made of brushed stainless steel, while the body is made of reinforced composite with more than 50% glass fibre.

From a SW perspective, the Suunto EON Steel is the first Suunto dive computer with user upgradeable SW, including a free Fixed Point CCR mode in 2015.

START AND FOLLOW

• Suunto DM5 is available as a free download and will automatically update to the latest version if you are online.
• Download the dive information back to your PC after the dive.
• Your dive will be logged in a logbook where you can work with and view all the logs.

SUPPORT SUUNTO EON STEEL

• Two new functionalities have been created specifically for Suunto EON Steel in the DM5 app.
• The first allows you to customize your screen.
• Create and customize the display for the EON Steel directly in the DM5 app and transfer this information to the dive computer via USB cable.
• The second functionality provides software updates. Use DM5 to download and install software updates for your EON Steel.
• The Suunto DM5 app is linked to Movescount.com, where you can view your dives, track your progress, add pictures or site maps, and also share your experiences with friends.

RECOVERING BATTERY

A fully charged Suunto EON Steel battery covers 20 to 40 hours of full use. Therefore, you can enjoy a boat dive or an extended dive weekend without worry. In addition to traditional charging, Suunto EON Steel automatically starts charging the moment you connect it to your computer with a USB cable.
