PC interface
The data transfer via the software interface to the PC is fast, reliable and automatic.
In late 1989 SUUNTO introduced another innovation - the first PC-software with which it is possible to simulate dive curves. This was followed by an "upgrade" in 1991, which combined Solution Alpha with PC-Interface. With the introduction of increasingly powerful versions, SUUNTO brought an easy-to-use and high-performance version of Dive Log for Windows to the market in late 1996.
The US organization DAN (Divers Alert Network), which is dedicated to improving diving safety and improving the practical use of computers, uses SUUNTO's dive curve memory as the data source for its database. In this way SUUNTO takes an active role in improving diving safety.
